What is Adobe Illustrator?

Illustrator is a program used by both artists and graphic designers to create vector images and artwork. These images can then be used for company logos, promotional uses or even personal work, both in print and digital form.


    • Selection Tool

    • Black arrow that will select the whole or grouped objects.

    • Direct Selection

    • White arrow that will select individual objects in a group or anchor points.

    • Art Boards

    • Printable portion of the work area, where illustrations can be finalized.

    • Layer

    • A single level in the stacking order that can hold any number of object.

    • Sublayer

    • A layer within a layer that can have its own name and its own settings.
